Pretty witches

She was not quite like other witches, covered up with spots and moles, she did not sneak around at night, or observe from dark holes,

she was in fact a pretty witch, so fetching to ones eye, once you fell in love with her, without her you would die.

She did not cackle, like folk say witches tend to do, in fact she was angelic sounding, almost spoke like you,

and when they dunked her in the river, just before she drowned, I swore to make where, e're she lay, a sacred hallowed ground!
